Make sure you have a shovel, a bag of sand or kitty litter, and a tow strap. Next, try to move your car. If it’s only kind of stuck, try rocking it back and forth. Put the car in drive and gently press the gas. If it’s still stuck, try putting the car in reverse and giving it a little gas.

If your car is still stuck, it’s time to spread some sand or kitty litter around the tires. This will give the tires some traction and help them grip the ground. Spread the sand or kitty litter as far as possible so that all four tires have some extra grip.
